ered via regular mail only. Please take a moment to check the label and verify your membership status. If you see "05" after your name then the club has received your renewal for 2005. If you don't see "05" after your name, you need to renew to keep your membership current. Please remember that the grace period for lapsed membership expires on February 14, 2005. After that date, you will be dropped from the membership role and you will have to rejoin as a new member.

2005 Match Schedule Approved
The 2005 match schedule was approved by the club membership at the November club meeting. The schedule will be mailed to all club members with next month's issue of the newsletter.
A new event to be held next year will be a half-scale smallbore silhouette match, to be held on the second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m., from January through October. It's just like the regular smallbore match, but with smaller animals and shorter distances. Leroy Squires will be the match director.

2005 Work Days Scheduled
Mark your calendar now: The club will hold work days in 2005 on January 29, July 30, and October 29, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Also, don't forget that you don't have to wait for an official work day to fix something at the range. If you see some

Range and Match News
Gary Lawrence appeared at the November club meeting to present his range review report to the club. His research indicates that the round that struck the house north of our property could not have come from our range. In his view, the bullet would have needed an unobstructed line of sight from the range to the house in order to reach it. He also recommends adjusting the line of fire on upper range two about 10 degrees to the west.
In match news, we'd like to congratulate Bill Morris on being named the Shotgun Sportsman of the year. Way to go, Bill!
Also, would all match directors please be sure to turn in any unused 2004 plaques. We'd like to recycle them for use next year.

Bylaws Committee Meeting Set
There will be a Bylaws Committee meeting on November 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Western Sizzlin'. The purpose of this meeting is to begin gathering suggestions for bylaws changes that will be submitted to the members at some point in the coming year. If you would like to attend, leave a message on the club information line, or contact one of the club officers for the details.
Please remember that
all club members are invited and encouraged to take part in the bylaws committee meetings. All club members are automatically part of the committee, and the club needs your input.

Bylaws Meeting Held
A bylaws meeting (not to be confused with a bylaws committee meeting) was held immediately following the November 8 club meeting to consider a motion to close upper ranges three and four upon completion of the new plinking range. The motion was approved. Please note that approval of this motion does not mean that these ranges will be closed immediately. It just makes it possible to go ahead and close them and dismantle them as soon as the new plinking range is ready, without waiting another month for another meeting.

Membership Renewals
All renewal forms will be mailed out by the end of November. If you haven't received yours by November 30, please call the club information line and leave a message with your name and address, and one will be mailed to you.
Now through January 2005, the newsletter will be deliv
