by the presiding club officers. All members will be given a copy of the Bylaws and Range Rules upon joining and again upon any effective changes.
B. Proposed changes to the Bylaws, Range Rules or Range Layout Maps
will be written or typed with the section, sub-section, Range Rule(s), or Range Layout Map(s) clearly identified. Proposal should indicate whether the change is an addition, deletion or clarification. Changes may be presented at any time for consideration at the next Bylaws committee review.

Concealed Carry Class Proposed
The club may hold another concealed carry class if there is sufficient interest. We would need twelve students in order to hold the class. If you would be interested in attending such a class, please call the club information line at 315-3071 and leave a message with your name and number.

Range and Match News
Recently we requested bids on the labor to build the new sheds we need at the range. Unfortunately, the people we contacted for bids were only interested in quoting prices for labor and materials. We have worked out a compromise where we will provide the roofing panels (that we already have) and the bidder will provide the other materials. Club secretary Rex Gismond will be obtaining new bids based on this revised plan.
In other news, club member Mark Boeckman proposed buying 25 50-gallon plastic barrels for use as barricades in IDPA matches at a cost of $226.00. The motion was approved.
Also, a proposal was made to buy a second set of hunter pistol half-scale animals for match use at a cost of $350.00. This motion was also approved.

Friends of NRA Dinner Planned
Club member Chuck Anderson announced that there would be a Saline County Friends of the NRA banquet on June 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Holland Chapel Baptist Church. If you are interested in helping out or obtaining tickets, please contact Chuck at 847-1171.

Next Work Day Scheduled
The club will hold its next work day on July 30, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. There will also be a work day on October 29.
Also, don't forget that you don't have to wait for an official work day to fix something at the range. If you see something that needs to be done and you have the means, go right ahead and do it. After all, we're
all responsible for the range.

New Members
We welcomed eleven new and returning members at the March meeting. They are Chris Chalmers, Bill Cook, William Eudy, Joel Hysmith, Jim Irving, John James, Justin Monroe, Terry Moore, Lonnie Nelson, Ryan Reed, and Donald Tucker. Welcome to the club, folks!
If you are a new member
and a new member of the NRA, please send a copy of your membership card or the label from your NRA magazine to the club post office box. This will enable the club secretary to update the files with your NRA number and correct expiration date.
Please note that all new members must attend the mandatory range and safety orientation before using the range. You are not a fully qualified member until you attend the orientation.
Also, don't forget that all new members are entitled to shoot in one club match per shooting discipline free of charge. Look over that match schedule, and come out and experience the fun of competition shooting.
