Club member Robert Phillips wanted everyone to know that he has a large number of new wheel weights and several pounds of lead in ingots, all suitable for casting bullets. He says he's tired of moving this stuff around, and is willing to trade for .45 auto parts or something else of interest. If you're interested, please call Robert at 778-1227.

February Work Day A Success
We had over twenty people show up for the February 29 work day. Our thanks to everyone who helped out. If you couldn't make it this time, don't forget that you don't have to wait for an official work day to do something to benefit the range. If you see something that needs doing and you have the means to do it, then by all means do it! You fellow members will appreciate it.

Congratulations to Andy Christos, winner of the Beretta AL-391 semi-auto "NRA Gun of the Year" shotgun. We hope you enjoy it. Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket and for helping us benefit the NRA Foundation as well as the Benton Gun Club.

The members approved a motion at the March meeting to allot $25,000 for building the small bore rifle silhouette range. A little under $14,000 of that will be for dirt work.
In match news, a motion was made and passed to move the April speed steel match to April 10 at 12:30 p.m. Paul Stiedle also reported that the first speed steel match was a success, with 15 peoples participating, five of which were non-members.
Match Directors: don't forget that the 2004 plaques are in the shed. Please take only what you need and return any unused 2003 or earlier plaques so they may be changed to 2004.

Member Alert! There are no trash cans on Benton Gun Club Ranges. We have burn barrels ONLY on ranges 1, 2, 3, and 4. Please place your unwanted targets, ammo boxes, cardboard, paper and other items that will burn in these barrels. If it will not burn, please take it home with you and dispose of it properly. Help keep our range clean so the people who work range maintenance can use their time for things like improvements instead of cleanup!
